HANDS ON IMMERSION TEACHING TRAINING COURSE

Beanstalk offers a practical, comprehensive and creative training workshop S SERIES with hands on activities and practical theory to get you equipped with ideas and projects to get your full potential as an immersion teacher!

The training is geared towards anyone who love working with children and is interested to bring another language into children's life: teachers, bilingual artists, parents or educative structures looking to implement a introductory immersion program to their students

All languages are welcome! Not restricted to French and Spanish only.

Part 1: WHAT IS IMMERSION?

Early childhood: Teaching in immersion: What does it mean?

Challenges and parameters encountered by teachers and children when confronted to an immersive class setting.

Reflexion about early childhood language acquisition and bilinguism, practical management strategies and activities will be shared over this 2.5 hours workshop.

Part 2: HANDS ON IMMERSION! DESIGN YOUR CLASS!

This 2 parts workshop will follow our introductory class to breakdown specific activities with the participants and help them creating their own teaching material.

Part 2: Design your class: Make it fun! Break down of activities, routines and projects for a class format first approach.

Part 3: Develop your curriculum! Articulation of the different steps to build your own immersion language curriculum.
